The core technology of superTEX composites GmbH is the patented splineTEX® process for producing free formed composite profiles.
Products made with the splineTEX® process are characterized by the excellent 3D formability. In addition, the production process is scalable from very low to extremly high quantities. This guarantees high quality products from prototype to mass production. We differentiate between the three production variants splineTEX®flex, splineTEX®plast and splineTEX®edition.
The ductile carbon preform gives maximum flexibility in the design with a minimum of weight. Carbon fibers or glass fibers can be used depending on requirement. These two types of fibers are cured with epoxy or polyurethane resin to guarantee the highest loads and maximum durability.
The variant splineTEX®flex is particularly suitable for complex shapes and changes of the cross section.
splineTEX®plast combines the properties of aluminum and composites. The result is a high-performance hybrid component. For an efficient manufacturing process, the splineTEX® process can be combined with standard CNC bending methods. The plast version can also be produced either with carbon or glass fibers.
The creative freedom offered by the splineTEX® process is also suitable for the production of design elements. Not only the flexibility of the forming convinces, the variety of materials opens up endless variations. A variety of other fibers can be processed instead of carbon fiber, even natural fibers such as hemp. Through the coloration of the resin, any color can be produced and the integration of LEDs in the component allows the production of illuminated objects.
